About Kathleen Donnelly, Attorney

I have been practicing law since 1989. I have focused on Bankruptcy and Real Estate law since 2005. Before opening my practice,  I worked as a Collection/Tax Specialist for the Internal Revenue Service. I also worked for Trammell Crow at their client's location of KeyBank as their OREO Portfolio Manager. I was responsible for mitigating the bank's losses on non-performing residential home loans which spanned the United States.  The OREO Portfolio Manager position evolved from my legal and residential real estate experience with Realty One as the “Rookie of the Year” and subsequently with Smythe Cramer as a “Listing Leader”/Multi-Million Dollar Producer” real estate agent.

I also developed a small business called InfoEdge Unlimited LLC which consisted of legal/non-legal research.  Clients included legal professionals, banks, libraries, accountants, non-profit organizations, physicians, business owners and real estate clients. Some of my clients came from two former law firms where I served as a Librarian Director for Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff, and as an Associate Librarian for Squires, Sanders & Dempsey. Prior to the law firm experience, I was the AV/Government Documents Night Reference Librarian at Case Western Reserve University Law Library.

My internship was also at Case Western Reserve University Law Library and I was responsible for developing the Government Documents collection housed there.

The collective unique experience and skill set led me to be adept as a Bankruptcy attorney and problem solver.  I have built my practice with my clients so they can trust me. This is evident through the number of referrals I continue to get from past clients as well as other professionals.

My mission is to advance my clients' goals and objectives while resolving the matter in the most creative, cost efficient and expedient manner. I provide the kind of personal attention that one would expect and should require. Legal problems commonly cause stress and anxiety. My goal is to relieve your stress, to earn your confidence and trust, and to solve your problems.

I personally assist my clients in filing both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases. However, Bankruptcy is only one possible solution and other alternatives exist. We will determine which solution is the best fit for your specific situation.

I am dedicated to providing my clients with the highest quality of representation for their real estate needs. I have substantial experience handling all aspects of residential real estate law, from simple transactions to complex transactions.
